eVenti Verticali is an A.S.D.(Amateur Sports Association) that pursues the goal of promoting vertical dance and theater by holding performances and classes in different disciplines that gravitate around the world of verticality.
Over the years, the company has developed trainings in Vertical Dance, Physical Theater, Acrobatics, Circus Disciplines, Sport Climbing and Canyoning, creating an environment where art and sports meet.
Activities closely related to verticality are aimed at facing and overcoming fear of heights, transforming it into excitement and thus into performance! By gaining confidence in materials and techniques, exploring operations at height with special attention to rescue maneuvers, one achieves a greater awareness of one’s abilities and risks, enabling one to deal safely and professionally with any performance at height.
In fact, safety is at the heart of everything we do: all eVenti Verticali technicians are certified as operators in charge of rope access and positioning systems, in accordance with Legislative Decree No. 81 of April 9 (formerly Legislative Decree No. 235 of July 8, 2003). This, together with our collaboration with experienced engineers in the field, allows us to approach each show with the utmost professionalism, while guaranteeing spectacular and extremely safe performances.
We revolutionize performance art by fusing theater, dance and acrobatics in unexpected spaces. Our vision is to take performance where you least expect it, transforming walls, plazas and open skies into stages that challenge perspectives and inspire audiences.
We believe that artistic growth comes from sharing. Through courses and workshops, we create learning spaces where artists, technicians and enthusiasts can engage and grow together, putting community at the center of our mission.
eVenti Verticali is more than a name: "EVENTS" recalls our performances that transform spaces, while "Venti", in italian means "winds" and represents the air that accompanies and sustains those who challenge the void. The capital "V" emphasizes the verticality that characterizes our artistic approach that rewrites the rules of the scene.
For us, verticality is just the beginning. We cross physical and creative boundaries, taking the performance beyond visible heights. Each performance is meant to be an invitation to look at the world from new perspectives, combining innovation, excitement and adventure in every movement.
It arises from vertical dance. The vertical space becomes a new floor on which the performers, held up by harnesses and hanging from a rope, dance, jump, run but most of all tell a story, serving the wall as a vertical stage.
We understand Vertical Theater as a language that makes use of different forms of expression ranging from theater to circus, from visual arts to acrobatics, from dance to music, from visual comedy to new technologies; disciplines that project their knowledge onto unusual and surprising theatrical venues such as aerial structures, towers, facades, bell towers, walls, cliffs, trees and large open spaces.
eVenti Verticali today is an A.S.D. (formerly A.S.D.C.R. or Associazione Sportiva Dilettantistica Culturale e Ricreativa) affiliated with UISP and registered with CONI. It promotes research into an original way of doing dance and theater on vertical and aerial spaces.
Founded in 2006 by Andrea Piallini and his brother Luca, the association has organized courses and performances around the world, promoting Vertical Theater in numerous countries (visit ARCHIVE page).
The inspiration to explore the vertical dimension was born in Gdansk, Poland, during a theatrical performance involving a rope descent from a window. The two protagonists met halfway down the wall, in front of an enchanted audience with a story to tell.This is how Vertical Theater, the result of the Piallini brothers’ vision, came to life in 2003.
Today eVenti Verticali is still based in Sassari and is active in creating innovative aerial performances such as “Cube,” “Quadro,” “Sphere,” and other ad hoc projects such as “Look-UP” and “Around the clock.”
The company is directed by Andrea Piallini, president of the association, and managed by Claudia Muresu, head of management and distribution. Pierpaolo Lubinu, vice president of the association, also serves as technical director of sound and lighting in most productions.
The artistic staff consists of professionals from various disciplines including dance, circus, acrobatics, music and new technologies.
In 2024, eVenti Verticali opened VertiLab, a center dedicated to training and experimentation in the field of vertical sports and arts. Located on the outskirts of Sassari, the VertiLab hosts classes, workshops and promotes collaborative opportunities for artists and enthusiasts, fostering growth and innovation in the field through rehearsals and the conception of new shows.
